Omschrijving
Deze training introduceert network and security administrators, engineers en managers aan Citrix Application Firewall 8.1. Tijdens deze training leer je het product goed te beheren en configureren en leer je te troubleshooten. Praktijkgerichte oefeningen, discussies en handleidingen zorgen ervoor dat de cursisten goed voorbereid zijn op het gebruik van Citrix Application Firewall 8.1.

Doelgroep
Deze training is bedoeld voor security engineers, managers, network administrators die direct werken met Citrix Application Firewall 8.1.

Voorkennis
Voor de training is het handig om het volgende te weten/kunnen:

• Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols and an understanding of the OSI model
• Experience with network devices, such as routers and switches, various networking protocols and aspects of application and site architecture (such as DMZs and VLANS)
• Moderate exposure to UNIX (particularly BSD variants) or Linux
• Exposure to basic systems administration concepts, including logging, software upgrade procedures and high availability operations
• Familiarity with web server software, such as Apache, IIS and WebSphere
• Basic knowledge of DNS, SSL and related concepts
• Understanding of concepts related to server load balancing.
• Knowledge of network security threats and site protection concepts, such as firewalls, worms and DDoS attacks

Vaardigheden die zijn behaald na de training
Na de training kunnen de cursisten:

• Identify common web attacks and vulnerabilities.
• Write PERL compatible regular expressions.
• Identify the features included in Citrix Application Firewall.
• Configure Citrix Application Firewall 8.1 to protect web applications.
• Configure logging and alerting on Citrix Application Firewall 8.1.
• Troubleshoot Citrix Application Firewall 8.1.

Trainingsvorm
Tijdens deze training wordt er veelvoudig gebruik gemaakt van groepsdiscussies, demonstraties en praktische oefeningen.
